As indicated by its name, Allegiance Christian Church is a denomination that pledges allegiance to follow unerringly the teachings of Jesus. It fits well under the umbrella of the commonly called non-denominational churches, but since at the onset it is driven by a vision broader than just a local church, it espouses the view of a denomination whose worldwide mission consists of leading people to God through the Gospel of Jesus, and given that the wording of Matthew 5:16 mandates all of those who uphold the teachings of Christ with a high value to shine before men so that they may see their good deeds, it stretches the scope of its vision to incorporate housing, nursing, feeding, schooling, and church-planting. Thus, the whole framework constitutes Allegiance Christian Mission.
Allegiance Christian Church and Allegiance Christian Mission may be used interchangeably. Both appellations are rooted in John 13:35, which states, “ By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Our belief system is as follow:
· We believe in one God as the creator of all things (Gen. 1:1);
· We believe in Jesus as: the son of God, the savior of the world, and the only way that leads to the eternal life (John 5:19, 14:6; Math 3:16-17);
· We believe in the Holy Spirit as the divine power that indwells believers to testify about God (John 14:26);
· We believe Jesus was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and was born from God’s servant, Mary (Luke 1:26-31);
· We believe in the Holy Christian Bible as the sacred text of Christianity;
· We believe that we are all sinners and that no sinners can enter the kingdom of God without being born again (John 3:3);
· We believe that man is saved only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Eph. 2:8);
· We believe in baptism by immersion as a crucial next step on a believer’s journey to salvation. (Acts 2: 38; Rom 6:3-4; John 3:5, 7; 1; Peter 3:21);
· We believe in the resurrection of the deceased at the second coming of Jesus (Luke 24:6-7; Rom 6:9);
· We believe in the Ten Commandment of the Old Testament... (Exodus 20:1-17; Math. 22:36)
